UTZ INDOOR PLANT SERVICE was founded in 1977. Since then it has serviced many businesses, some of them for 20 and 30 years. The reason for these very long business relationships is our emphasis on client satisfaction. We pride ourselves on cutting the red tape down to personal attention and to detail. We usually don’t have any contracts with our clients because we believe that if the Service is good, the clients are happy, if not, it is better to have the flexibility to end the relationship. If a contract is a requirement, we are only too happy to enter into one.

The founder of UTZ INDOOR PLANT SERVICE is Utz Hahn from Germany. He arrived in Sydney in 1973. His profession ad passion was photography. Because he was trained for photographic reproduction in the printing industry but this profession was taken over by the upcoming computer technology.
In the following years he worked for a company called Clarke’s Nursery in Chatswood. This company was hiring and maintaining indoor plants to many companies. When it finally finished in 1977 due to liquidation, Utz was able to carry on that part of the business and called it UTZ INDOOR PLANT SERVICE.

Our business is to add live indoor plants to Offices to break up the monotony of the modern office. Live plants are an essential element to counter the effects of the so called ‘sick office syndrome’ . Indoor plants also make the workplace friendlier; most people appreciate the greenery around them. After all that is where they spend a lot of their time. For that reason we decided to offer with our plants photographic prints for your walls. The themes are mainly landscapes from Australia and Europe.

As well as the indoor plants and the photographs we can arrange water features. They are a great way to feel relaxed in our otherwise busy life, especially in the office. Because of your circumstances these water features would have to be discussed in detail, about the size and about the materials used.
